CAVE GECKO |
These red-eyed beauties are relatively new in captive
care, unknown in collections until 1996 when specimens of
G. hainanensis were first imported from Hainan Island
China. Although not as ready to accept a lot of handling, Chinese
cave geckos make an excellent choice for the beginner or
advanced hobbyist.

Please
note that even though they are sometimes compared to Leopard
geckos, care and setup are very different, with cave geckos requiring a
more humid habitat. The gecko shown on this page is regularly
found basking in the waterfall pool in it's
enclosure.
