Our Feature Reptile

RED EYE CROCODILE SKINK

We have had some success breeding these little beauties.

Unfortunately they only lay one egg per clutch and are therefore not always available.

If you would like one of our future hatchlings, there is a short waiting list so email us soon if you would like your name to be added.

Latin Name: Tribolonotus gracilis

Size: 20 to 25 cm

Origin: New Guinea and other nearby islands, found in humid tropical forests near water.

Temperament: Shy, crepuscular.

Feeding: Likes small insects, crickets, grubs and worms, coat with a high quality vitamin/mineral additive daily.

Maturity: Sexual maturity reached around 3 years.

Considered rare in their native habitat.
